Abstract
SARA vocational school is the first of its kind in Azerbaijan. The motive of the school is to educate citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan and to add value to the local economy. The working principle of the school is to educate students mostly by practices. As a CSR project, the main aim of the school is to serve country, and citizens in best way possible. To do that school had to be self-sustainable. This business plan demonstrates vocational school’s steps towards self-sustainability. Growing hazelnut, persimmon, corn, wheat, barley, blueberry, and greenhouse tomatoes in more than 200 hectares of land makes school profitable after 5th year of establishment. All necessary market research was done, and marketing plan, organization strategy was created and demonstrated in the business plan. According to the predicted cash flow statement, the IRR of the school based on PV was -12%. NPV of the project was -6,132,837.84 ₼ based on the cash flows between 2022-2032. The reason behind negative IRR is being CSR project. The IRR could have been more if the school operated on real business basis not as a social responsibility project. Of course, the main objective is to 2 create additional value for the society and economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
